Hello everyone!

I'm having a bit of an internet problem here. I used to have a dynamic ip but now its suddenly changed to something very strange. My ip address according to any website is 194.100.155.249, but ipconfig (dos command) says something different.

-------

Translation after Windows IP-Määritykset:

Ethernet-adapter Local area connection:

Connection Specific DNS Suffix:
IP Address:
Subnet Mask:
Default Gateway:

-------

What i'm trying to do, is run a listenserver on Garry's Mod. I used to be able to do this fine before my ip changed but now it won't work. If I try to portforward, putting any of the ip addresses into the URL bar won't bring up anything. I am able to surf the internet and use msn and join games but I am unable to host.

Does anyone have any ideas?

Thanks beforehand,
JM

Those addresses are very likely to be your internal addresses; the IP addresses needed to access your PC from within the confines of your network. In order to make this work, you will likely need to port forward your PC/Router.

Well whenever I put any IP into the url bar, it comes with an error. This is why I can't port forward.

Try 192.168.1.1 or 10.10.10.1 to get the router...

My router for some reason set itself up as 192.168.101.33. Don't ask why. So it could be anything in theory.

I guess if I could access my router and do the port forward settings I could set sort this mess out. Unfortunately I cant go to the settings. If anyone knows how to fix this problem that would be good.

When you do ipconfig, whatever your "default gateway" is, that is the ip of your router.
