Aw, and I had just bought 4

Looks pretty cool, but if it is a testament of how CoD has progressed over the years, it won't be anything new.

Yes, but don't people love CoD for what it is? If you don't like it, then tough. I find the CoD style of combat addictive. I enjoy it alot

My cousin thinks it's just 'meh' and fine, thats his opinion, but I'm glad they aren't totally changing their gameplay elements. I just want more of the same when it comes to CoD. As long as they keep introducing more battle scenarios and ways to use their trademark combat style I'm all for it I guess

I wasn't saying it would be entirely a bad thing, just giving my perspective on the new game

CoD2 was my favorite FPS until CoD4 anyway!

You gonna support that statement? Nope? Okeydoke!

Anyway, it looks pretty cool, but it's not CoD 5. Like with the other versions, it's just alternate gameplay using the current CoD engine.

Erm, Activision merged with Blizzard... as far as I know.

I have to admit that I perferred the modern-day theme of 4.

Everyone needs to understand that CoD: WaW is NOT MADE BY THE PEOPLE WHO MADE COD4. CoD6 is the one rumored to be the MMO, not CoD5, and CoD6 is being developed by the people who made 4. CoD5 is being made by the people who made CoD3, which was the worst of the series, so don't get your hopes up, but admittedly, the trailer looks good, and they did get the CoD4 engine to work with this time.

Blizzard and Activision have merged. You can't team up with yourself. Do your homework

As Jimmy said, this is NOT COD 5. It's titled Call of Duty: World at War. There's no 5 in the official title, which is leading me to believe COD 5 will be made by the folks who did COD 4.

I quite liked CoD3, Gil Best of the WW2 CoDs

CoD4 was easily the best, but still CoD3 was awesome.

The checkpoints in COD 3 were too far apart, which was a dealbreaker for me.

Call Of Duty 3 just didn't have the COD looks and feels the other games had.

CoD2 was amazing and hooked me on the series. CoD3 almost broke it for me (it was so buggy and had a lot of major problems). CoD4 was great. I'm just hoping CoD: WaW isn't going to be bad just because its made by Treyarch and not Infinity Ward.

I wasn't all that impressed by the trailer, but bet there is more to come.

CoD 2 was awesome, and I've been meaning to get CoD 4 - I played in my friend's 360, it was good but I preferred the feel of CoD2, then again I dislike the XBox 360 controller, so I sucked majorly until I got used to the controls.

So it'll be interesting to see this one, though I do need CoD 4 first. And a shame about CoD 3 being console only.

I never really got into them much. I have #4, play it sometimes. Haven't really gotten to it in a month, when I'm in the mood for an fps I go back to the heart-pounding amazing godliness of crysis. #2 I've played elsewhere many times and I really liked it. However, like #3, the creators are probably going to really screw this one up.

I played the first game on pc and thought it was great, one of the few games that I struggled to stop playing. I keep re-installing it but I just can't seem to get sucked into it like I did the first time through, good game though.

I then skipped straight ahead to the 4th game which pulled me right back in. I also find myself able to play that through again and still enjoy it but that's probably because it's so short, I can get through it in a few days (still need to get through it on the harder settings for those xbox achievements).

I am not a fan of the re-spawning enemies (what's the point of chucking a grenade in a room if it fills up with enemies again in a few seconds?) but checkpoints are so common it never gets too frustrating and there's always plenty of cover to hunker down behind if you want to.

It's also great fun on multiplayer, I didn't start playing it online until a week or 2 ago but I still manage to have fun and that's not because I'm a good player (I ain't) it's just the way the multiplayer's designed.

I'd like to pick up the 2nd game, I had a demo and really liked it but I never got around to buying it, maybe now's the time.

Call of Duty 3 was the only one I've liked so far lol. CoD 4 is cool and all and I enjoy playing it but I prefer CoD 3 over it.

Is the MMO CoD coming out for consoles? That will be frikin awesome.

I'm saving my excitement for a CoD Vietnam game.

There are so many awesome things they could do with a soundtrack for a game in that era.

. Are you sure you're talking about the right game? . CoD3 is almost unanimously called the worst of the series, and CoD4 the best by far. I didn't see any improvements from 2 to 3, only sucky things added .

I wish they'd do a good Korean War game. Or maybe let you play as the Nazis or the Japanese in a WWII game. Darn political correctness

CoD4 is the best, followed closely by CoD3 for me. I dunno why everyone bashes it. I didn't experience any glitches or bugs. The game was fun. I dunno...

Yes I'm very sure I'm talking about the same game. I liked CoD 3 the best by far. Though the perks are pretty cool in CoD 4.

Is it me or do Treyarch just want to add vehicles? CoD3's main feature was vehicles and the main thing they keep saying is about vehicles.

CoD3 wasn't terrible, but wasn't as good, in my opinion as any of the others. I'm talking about the PS2 version, btw, the next gen versions may have been better. They added those stupid mini-games, the graphics barely improved, if at, all, the maps felt more confined, the battles and action wasn't as intense or fun. That's why I didn't like it as much, at least .

Yeah, what beef do you have with Blizzard? I personally love them, they're made StarCraft! And WarCraft!

There is a good few pages in the months issue of Edge magazine dedicated to this game. They certainly offer a lot more info than this short video. I considered buying it and scanning the pages in for all the nice peeps but then I saw a squirrel.
