Because I basically want to run an exe, then that triggers another exe to run. Thanks.

Well, if youre using C, you can use WinExec/CreateProcess/spawn/exec to call another file.

and for C i know of about 13ways using the Windows functions alone, but there are so many ways to do it its just stupid

Thanks Raven. It's weird though, when I open a VB exe with it, the form is the wrong size, odd .
