Photoshop CS3 - Art
Paint Shop Pro 9 - Art
Unwrap3D - UV Mapping
Rhino3D - Modelling
CharacterFX - Animation

I make a model in Rhino3D, UV map it with Unwrap3D and save out the UV bitmap, then I load this into PSP9 and draw the texture. Then I import the model into CharacterFX and apply the texture before rigging and animating. Then it gets exported as a .X file from CharacterFX, ready for DBPro.

Hexagon 2.5 - Modelling/UV mapping (but it keeps crashing, so I'm currently using a demo of Silo 2 for all that)
Carrara 5 Pro - Rendering, scene building and animation
Paint.NET - images

I used to use photoshop 6 and Cinema 4D CE 6, but they're out of date by a long shot. (Plus I lost my C4D disk and code and PS6 belongs to my sister and I haven't bothered reinstalling it)

I'm saving up for: Zbrush 3, Silo 2 and Milkshape 3D (Only because it's great for games)

Interesting. Although I have never used it, so I am speaking from 0 experience, I have always heard that Terragen was difficult to use for game terrains due to the large amount of polies.

If there is an easy way of using it for games, I would definitely check it out, because it makes some absolutely stunning terrains.

The best way to use Terragen I think, would be to export the terrain texture and heightmap and use it on an advanced terrain - coupled with a Terragen skybox to match and it would look pretty nice.
