Excellent work.

Well done, now you've just got texturing animating and rigging to an arm of some description to contend with.

I guess if your new to modelling throwing yourself in at the deepend might be a good idea.

Well, i have been modelling for like 2 years, but just modelling stuff like a couple of things a year, been working on my programming and my mmorpg mainly but decided to give modelling ago again today, i think im going to do it more.

I Find UVing hard, texturing easy though.
Animation, i can probably do in Maya but not positive as i havent done any courses in it yet.

While animating it in Maya might be a bit complex, it would be worth it, since you'd gain experience with using one of the industry's most widely used 3D-apps. That is, it will be worth it if you're considering going farther than a hobby with game making.

But otherwise, I'd suggest Milkshape 3D. It's not free, but it has a simple and efficient interface, and possibilities to export to X-files.

mmh well i use 3ds max 9 and it has some pretty good features. Lets just say 3ds max was easier for me to use than milkshape.
