I have blender but the only way to animate on it is keyframe animation. There is no bone tool in it.

If you want a modeling program with a bone tool then I suggest Caligari Gamespace.

There are two versions of this

Gamespace US $299

Gamespace light Free

Website is http://www.caligari.com/gamespace/

The Light version dosen't have all the fetures of the full version but you can save all the models as .x files. It includes the bone tool.

space>add>armature.lol
all you do is go back into edit mode and alter it to the model, to add new bones press "E", and then if you want to quickly rig it, "p" bone heat.

Well I didn't see it at all when I used blender, but it is good to know that there is a bone tool.

I guss I didn't look hard enough for it though.
