Hi,

I'm wondering if anyone could recommend a decent camcorder I could buy for $300 at maximum (quite a restricting budget, I know). I found this rather interesting deal but I'm not so sure about it..

If you've got any advice, please post!

Thanks

May I advise that you go for a $300 standard definition video camera in comparison to a $300 high definition video camera? In the same way that a £100 4 megapixel camera produces better photos than a £100 10 megapixel camera, I'd imagine that the focus and colours would be better on a standard definition camera of the same price.

If you can stretch to a 3CCD camera on that budget it really will make a world of difference. But that budget might be just too low. I think the cheapest you can hope to buy a 3CCD camera second hand is about £300
