How? Diagram...





x and y are points and the line is a line/vector (duh). The vector is 2d. I want some code that will, say... return 1 if its is on the side of the line that y is and 2 if it is on x's side.

What method did you use for this? I was trying to make a very simple FPS as a first project (doesn't everyone?) and would rather use lines (vectors) for bullet collsion and not make bullet objects.
