I have two screenshots from a level I made and I would like to know if I am going in the right direction with level design.

Ok lighting's good, but I'd put some light source entities in there, to add realism, if you have money, you could get the latest update and use the in-built store to buy stuff, like custom characters and room segments, etc.......

Try and not use the stock media that comes with FPSC, youll find tonnes of good, (and free!) stuff on these boards if you search, it shows that you really went out and looked for stuff to enhance your game....

Finally, I'd add a bit more entities int your room, especially the first, and try to use some decals, they add greatly to the look of your game.....

An excellent start, I'd like to see this become a good game.....

Also, square rooms can get a little boring so try and add some interesting level geometry too.

In a game every room should have a purpose. So have a think about what each room is going to be: A puzzle? An arena? A set for a story zone? A room to give the player a feeling of unease? etc etc.
