I read a tutorial (btw very good) that featured this example:

The idea was that a person types in their name, presses enter, and the words "Hello -person's name-" would appear
When I pressed enter, the program went no further. Does anyone know what I am doing wrong?

You need to put a wait key in the end of the code otherwise the program will close right after you write your name.

It seems to me that putting a loop around it wouldn't be the best choice. It would work, if I'm not mistaking, but just putting wait key (or wait mouse) would be a more simplified solution (and would use less lines of code)
