Well, there isn't one of these on the first page so let's go again!

Time to see who has the best background, the most ridiculously tidy desktop and the most absurdly high resolution...

Please everyone, half the screen grab in Paint so it doesn't push the thread out sideways.

Some clutter but not too bad, and a respectable high resolution if I do say so myself

I don't have much to show, windows classic theme, "ridiculously tidy" and black background. Just the way I like it. No reason to show pic for that.

Not exactly downloaded any backgrounds yet - any suggestions or sites for good wallpapers?

My desktop:

Made a small clean before taking the pic, so I would show it at its best . I have resized it from 1024x768 to 800x600 using Paint, so it looks a bit bad in some places.

Yay! Maybe this time we can keep this one going instead of having to start a new thread every few months.

I'm guessing most of you did this right when you saw this thread, as most of them have the Game Creators minimized. I did too. If it's too big, tell me and I'll resize.

@Xenocythe: where'd you get that side bar? ... because it looks like something i'd like (i prefer smaller icons all grouped together, on one side like that is even better though).

Well here's mine. Desktop from my Nokia E61. It's internet connection is 7 times faster than the computer's. The pic is the full size (I think) and is attached cos you can't put images in your post using my browser.
Maybe my desktop is cluttered? But it's not as bad as some people's

No, contrary to popular belief my name is not actually 'Sinister Stuff' but 'sinisterstuf', a misspelling resulting from the latter having too many characters with no spaces in between

oh well

My desktop (iPod plugged in when this shot was taken)

I use ubuntu, with a TAP network attached to WinXP in virtualbox (hence the "WinXP" in the program list). Works a treat with seamless hardware + input etc. and I can still afford to give XP 768mb of RAM, and have 900mb to spare
