Sorry to make another topic about airsoft. This was slightly off-topic from the last one so a new one seemed warrented.

Like I said in my other thread, I got an airsoft gun, my first one. As such I don't know to much about airsoft guns. My question is, is it common for an airsoft gun to always shoot slightly to the left or right of the barrel? Mine shoots slightly to the left, and I'm not sure if I should return it. If I do I may just get another one like it, or if it's not common that means I have a defected product.

Thanks a bunch.

No, its a common thing, the gun should also shoot slightly up if its working properly. Mine shoots up and to the right/left (at random). It just depends on the bullet that's leaving the barrel at the time, how strong the wind is, and if your moving or not.

But mine seems to go left a little bit almost always, not both. But I guess you're probably right. It seems like my pistol might also go slightly right.

It also seems like it's coming out a little to the left, not firing at a left angle. And with the hop up, it's worse.

Lol when I used to paintball with my buddies we would get in a huddle and do dramatic speeches and we always ended it with "spray and pray." Lol.

Yup, almost all guns I've ever used tend to fly one way or the other, generally left. You just have to shoot enough with that specific gun to learn how to compensate for it, taking into consideration the range, because wind has a big impact of the tiny near weightless ammo.

I think it's the way the bullet spins and cuts the air. Mine have all done this and you just have to learn to compensate. Try shooting point blank at your opponent instead. Gets rid of the spin AND makes them swear like a sailor
