hey
iv recently switched from object dock to rocket dock purley for the stack dock feature. However I set my dock up with a couple of stack docks, however when i restart my computer the stack docks stop working. The icons change back to the default and when you click on them nothing happens.
does anybody know why this is happening?
cheers

that's weird, I use Rocket Dock and the stack docklet feature, and I've never had that problem.

I'm using Windows XP sp2 and Rocket Dock 1.3.5

haha, I just was reading Rocket Dock's "About" tab. And they say, "RocketDock is developed by an Apple fanboy and fangirl on OS X. Consider it a peace offering from the Mac community to you.

Together we can end OS persecution. "
made me give a chuckle.

Well if the software was designed to properly cooperate with Vista then there wouldn't be a problem.

no its not really to do with the UAC what you have to do is right click on the folder that you want to create a stack dock for (It has to be the root folder and not a shortcut) and then click properties. You then click the security tab at the top and then the edit button...you have to make sure that everyone has full permission.

I found a tutorial on it and this is what they said to do and it works.
Hope this helps
