I can run it (Vista).

Saved as .rar then extracted both files to desktop.

Mooey.exe is a DOS like program that asks for a 'moo key' then gives you this link:

Then says enter anything to exit.

Ignore - didn't see the second page.

[Nice chain by the way - attached for those still struggling. ]

Neither can I - and I get the same error window as blobby 101.

Now to see if I can find out how to fiddle with the compatibility options.

I've only got earlier versions here - could that be the problem?

Runs fine here in Vista (without any compatibility mode set). The only thing I find in that EXE is the string backwards one seeks to feast upon each odd mouthfull to one third of twice half a dozen gulps and two links to images:

As for those who can't run it, perhaps you need this, I'm not sure.

damn your string-searchage! You're supposed to go through many hoops before you can see the rest of that

Remember those old guys? They made epic renders, I think one of them was called DaVinci, and all they used was MS Paint. Sometimes it's just skill....

String-searchage? I used arcane magic to find this data.

meh. Anyway, to help find out why this program won't run for so many people:

Anyone see something wrong with that?

I'm going to take a wild shot in the dark and say you built it with the Multi-threaded Debug DLL (/MDd) option under the Runtime Library setting.

Ok, well I switched the thingy from "Active (debug)" to "release", went and checked the Runtime Library thingy and it said "Multi-Threaded DLL" now. Attached

No, you don't want the DLL option, that means you need to package the CRT DLL with it, which you haven't done.

Ok I changed it to just Multi-Threaded

I also noticed at the end of my main() function I was returning 1, not 0, so I changed that too

Nope. Same as before.

Will try new download now.

Edit The new download runs. But it's not very exciting ...
