After several years I returned to Darkbasic, and bought the pro version this time.

Despite having lost my old data (didn't back up too good, way back) I wanted to reprogram my old Pokeyedit matrix editor. Therefor, the first sneak preview is downloadable from this location:

This is quite cool. Im making a terrain editor for my new terrain engine, ÜberTerain, so ill be interested to see how this develops.

On request, here's a screenie. The main effort thusfar has been put into the mousecontrol. on-screen is a small explanation of it.

An updated setup file can be downloaded from the location mentioned in the first post in this thread.

With the left shift and while dragging the mouse, a glimpse can be seen of selecting multiple tiles. It's still bugged though. When you try to drag it to the opposite direction, the selection goes haywire.

The area selection is now working like it should. Using the left SHIFT key, you can toggle between tileselect and blockselect. The right mousebutton then raises or lowers the selected area, depending on dragging the mouse down or up.
