How do I get DirectX 9.0c after I already have DX10, I've tried to download the DirectX 9.0c Redistributable and unzipped and ran the executable, but it recognizes DX10 and doesn't install, is there a way to clear the computer of 10 and install 9.0c?

ditto here. just ensure that you are installing the latest version of directx as installing a version earlier than the version installed will cause the error you are experiancing.

But directx 9 and 10 exist side be side as you need fancy graphics cards to use full X10 functionality and not everyone has them.
