Hey,

This is my first model using Milkshape 3d, I'm still very bad at it. I am still not sure how to turn the cylinders for its legs and arms. I also don't know how to sculpt it yet, so right now it looks pretty basic, but, here it is.

How is it?

You need to post your screenshots in .jpg format.

No, sadly, it is not animated yet. I am still just getting the hang of it.

Here it is again... looking even worse...

How can I sculpt it so it isn't so...square?

Since I am a beginer, I still don't know how that works.

It looks good but I bet its to high poly. click tools/model information and see how many triangles it has. If way more than 4000 its really high poly.

dude milkshape isnt right the way your using it.....you dont just make things out of the shapes they give you..if you really want a good tutorial, i'd be glad to give you a self tutorial to explain the basics and how to use it and anything you want to know.

Just e-mail me if your interested, i'd be glad to help.

Thanks for the complements!

The poly count is a little over 8600.

How can I lower it?

Well, you could use cylinders with less detail, and try extruding faces insted of making hundreds of cylinders.
