I was having fun with the new playerdrop feature (FINALLY!!!), and I realized, when I drop a weapon, and pick it up again, I have all the ammo I had before, but it gives me more! Is this a known issue, or has this been addressed before?

Oops... Is this the wrong section? Because I used it in a script, and I want to know if this is a fixable issue.

Hmm... I don't know. However, if you don't want your ammo from before, you could make a copy of the gun files in both the entitybank and the gamecore/guns folders so that FPSC treats it as a seperate gun with different ammo.

I thought the player drop only worked with items, not weapons.

The answer to your problem is simple:

It is a "known" issue.
Entity weapons hold their "ammo count" as a number of "clips" and not a number of "bullets". So if your dropped gun has a bit more than a single clip when you drop it, when you pick it back up, it'll probably have TWO clips... or, one more than what you previously had.

The one and only,

I fixed it: just set it's ammo count to 0.

ok, make a cheracter with this as their main script,

This kills them instantly, leaving their weapon.

Set player can take weapon to yes and take ammo to 0. When the player picks up the gun, it is empty.
