I started to experiment with character meshes for a while now and came up with this guy:

I frankensteined him from a base character that i somewhat heavily reworked to fit the body scheme i had in mind (from hero chest to beer belly),severed the head and set up one i made from scratch in SketchUp, added some detail to the mesh here and there and then handpainted him in Blacksmith3D paint (awesome paint programme btw, I'm loving it). Then i build him a skeleton and made a quick test animation i put on youtube....Tell me what you think!

I am Jacks complete lack of surprise.

Thanks for your comments so far...At the moment i have trouble exporting him to .x(gives me errors) so i think I'll have to re-rig him in another app like milkshape or fragmotion. Which is working better with FPSC? I tried some stuff with the standard FPSC skeleton in milkshape but that looked really bad....Maybe i made mistakes while assigning the joints.

I am Jacks complete lack of surprise.
