i made a model and i have all that running but how do i get a life bar to show up. i was gonna ccreate a box in 2d but it doesnt show up in the loop. i used the draw to front commands and stuff so it should show up but its not someone please help me out.

try taking the "cls" out, because that may be the reason the health box doesn't show.

Here's a neat code i came up with a while back for life bars. It makes a 3d life container with a liquid that goes away with each hit.
If you want to increase the damage, just increase the HP. If you want to scale it bigger, just make sure to do it in the loop as well.

that is a cool life bar but unfortunatley it does not fit with my games look, thanks though you gave me an idea.
