Even with a **** you can not swear in these forums. I advise you to edit your post right away. Also if you can't model in those programs you will never be able to model because that is about as easy as it gets.

Get Blender 3d then go to http://en.wikibooks.org/wiki/Blender_3D:_Noob_to_Pro
It is a book that has step by step tutorials that get harder and harder as you go. I had no clue how to even begin with blender and now I can model simple characters and I only started a week ago. Blender also produces very good quality models that are perfect for x10.

Besides, you need patience to learn anything... You won't be able to do anything perfect the first time anyway.

Hi Quik

For a free modeling application you might try truespace 7.6. It is free and easier than blender (in my opinion) and there is a bunch of free tutorials too. www.caligari.com

There is a forum where you can get a lot of help too. And it exports directx. With bones and animation and textures.

lol ninja, putting down my beloved truespace :p But I think you are right sketchup seems good for absolute noobs. Probably not best for creating organic things like characters as far as I can tell, I never tried it but seen it in use. But making some simple objects in sketchup is probably a good way to go.

All of the modeling apps seem the same to me. Draw a vertice, select a face, pull-push-move etc. I think I do more with milkshape because there are more tutorials and more people here seem to be familiar with it. So help and support are driving factors for me. Although I am starting to like Ac3d more and more.

I'd definitely recommend AC3D. It's not free, but it's my favorite so far. Extremely easy to use. Doesn't include anything to do animations, but it's still pretty solid. For making just models, use AC3D. It's pretty easy to figure out without looking at the manual or any tutorials at all. It also exports directly to .x which is good for FPS Creator stuff.
