Yeah, there are alot of talented pople here from modelers, scripters, musicians, Concept artist's and much more. If you had a great idea and the money for a Commercial project and could only choose one person from here to join you in the Development of it who would it be?
Remember: Dont just pick someone if they are amazing at one thing remember it should be a well rounded person with many talents.

The Person who i would choose is.......ROLFY
The reason is he is Great at everything He has Great Models And Is a Good Scripter. He can get terrain to work in fpsc. He makes Amazing Skybox's and environments As well as great Decals. And just seems like a cool guy and a very talented person.
Who would you Recruit?

I would recruit Leadworks to make the engine, Green Gandalf to do the shading and Jason P Sage to do the terrain. I'd probably add seppuku to do some models and cash curtis to do the scripting as well.

Cash Curtis\TDK\Benjamin\Daris Benjy Xiao\Raven are all great choices.

But since I can only choose one, I would have to admit that it would depend entirely on the project.

I'm as well rounded as they come so I would do whatever Agent Dink did to copy myself. An army of me would be awesome. If I had to chose however, I'd go for Agent Dink, Aaron or RiiDii. Van B perhaps, he seems to get things working one way or another. Even though I don't know how much of an "all-rounder" he is.

I already have recruits, but if I said my empire, then no doubt it'd be a joke running old on the forums (which surprisingly lives elsewhere)

This thread seems to be out to flatter people...not that I'm complaining, my name's on a list, how can I complain.

In all seriousness if I wanted a crack team of TGCers to help me build a game - I'd have Big Add to help me with the modelling and Jon Fletcher to UVmap and texure - with that I'd have more time to spend on animation and level design. For programming, there's quite a few of these around, I might have tha_rami or Aaron Miller for that. I might get Agent Dink or Cian Rice to do some of the 2D HUD stuff and logo. Grandma would be an obvious choice for music.

Of course in the world we call reality, I only have myself and an army of me would be awesome (I'm sorry) I could have one of me doing one thing and another me doing something else - things would get done a lot quicker.

I'd have to say me, serge, and the "I hate book" guy.

jk, in all seriousness I wouldn't recruit anyone, I'd hate to work with somebody outside our team. Besides, passing code on the internet is just...

For programming (If I can't choose myself) I'd choose Cash Curtis, since he seems extremely good at finishing things without giving up!

For modelling, probably Seppuku, because he's a great modeller, but might actually accept

Programming: Gil Galvanti - not only do I get to boss him around, but also, he can hang to a game for years. Ah who am I kidding, I'd recruit him just for getting to boss him around.

Story: Seppuku Arts - probably the most gifted writer around here.

Sound/Music: Not too hard on me, Junkrock for now I guess.

Modelling: Fletcher is great indeed.

heh heh, I'm flattered people would choose me. ^_^

Modelling: Grandma and Agent Dink, although I must admit I haven't seen many modellers.

World Building: Well, I'd first build the software to make the worlds, and in the process I'd likely make several, then I'd have Grandma, Agent Dink, Diggsey, and Cash Curtis build some. All of them have completely different tastes in level design, it appears, which is good for diversity within a game.

Plugin Building (Because DBP is better customized): My self and Diggsey. If I could choose Mike or Lee however, I wouldn't. Index numbers don't work well, hence why not.

Sound: Grandma, Junkrock, SMD_3D Interactive

Programming: I'd do all the plugin programming (The C++ work) and then I'd have a DBP user interface with them (If DBP must be used). Those DBP users would be Diggsey, Cash Curtis, RiiDii, and zzz.

Also, Chuck Norris would be leader in every category.

Cheers,

-naota

Three of you and we wouldn't need anyone else at MISoft j/k!

We've recruited most of the people I'd want already, lol. I guess I'd have to say JessT, Benjamin, Gil, Cash, Wehtam, and Butterfingers. I'd say Jeku but he'd be legally and contractually difficult to obtain. I'm sure if I really thought about it I could come up with others, but for the most part, these are the ones who come immediately to mind.

I would recruit Jordan Stories Games or whatever he is called now, and proceed to do it all myself.

You wouldn't need to, he would have a release ready in 10 minutes. It may not be playable, but it counts.

I'd probably recruit whoever can use WORLD for making the levels, seppeku arts for story cash curtis for the modelling and do the programming myself. Oh oh and Aaron Miller for the awesome DBP plugins.

EDIT:
And David W so he isn't left out. Maybe you can make funny sound effects... somehow.

I'm not special.

But I'd choose Benjamin for some of that complex network coding, Agent Dink for ideas, modeling and interface, and Evolved for shaders!

I'd get Gil...

In fact the two of us are working on the grandest concept of all time... and if anyone one person can do it by themselves it would be Gil...

I'd recruit 2 more me's, because I'm bad with teams and that way I could have one do schoolwork, one do social stuff, and one do programming.

Shadow clone jitsu, that's what I need.
