Hi guys,

here is another multiplayer level for you to download and try. Its fairly simple rectangular shape with dip in the middle of it. The story for thi slevel sounds stupid but best I could come up with at the time lol:

The Shrine is a 4 player online or LAN based deathmatch game. It is a room on an alien homeworld called Sanctum, where people offer sacrifices to the "angels of hope" in the form of peoples limbs and body parts. They beleive that the blood of the limbs they offer to the gods, which are placed into the holy water of the shrine, are absorbed by the two angels of hope, and brings them one step closer each time to restoring the gods in their previous form, in flesh and blood.

They beleive that once the gods return in the flesh, they will bring peace and prosperity to the people of Sanctum who have raged a planet wide civil war over resources for the past 3 centuries. People guard the shrine literally with their lives as you can see skeletons line the walls of individuals who have preserved the shrine throughout the course of history. Now however non beleivers in the legend of the angels of hope, want to destroy the shrine, as it creates more death and destruction than good.

Different factions meet in the shrine, all who are enemies from the civil war, where they will not only complete their mission, but enjoy the slaying of long term enemies as well.

Here are some screenies attacthed of the lighting effect I created as well. Plus there is a video on my website of the level at http://www.techville.co.uk/musicvid.html

Game will be available for download tomorrow as its late now and am heading to bed . See yas tomorrow dudes. Thanks.

That color is a little obnoxious. And why are all the related videos girls in skimpy clothing?

lol oh yeah the youtube video player on my site has all my vids those just have my tunes in it that are free to download and tell u where to get them from.

I tried to make it sort of like the midship level in halo 2 except all on the same level. Its kinda all purple and stuff to give it the feel of like an alien design which are sometimes bright and sometimes dull. Frankly the other 3 levels are all pretty dark so i thought i spice it up a little more by mixing some of the lighting together.

Thanks krowsnest, i think krow is right the actual lighting isnt as high a bloom effect as the pictures show i think its because its lost some of its quality saving to JPEG format unfortunately.

But tomorrow i will post it for download and you can see how it looks on your computers. The main effect i was kinda going for is trying to mix 2 lights together to blend with each other. Cheers for the comments.

file is uploaded to my website now. Had bit of trouble uploading it now but sorted. Am making another map called "Warehouse" and should be up by Wednesday all being well and another tune I am making.

This time I will try and create the lighting effect I want and tried to create in this level but didnt work out too well. Its because of the range in multiplayer arena mode of the light cannot be changed, but my next level will be able to control it better.

Enjoy, cheers
