I was wondering what script would make a car follow a waypoint and fly.

Do you have to edit the entity script?

It can be done, but what have you come up with so far? we will not help unless you try soething yourself. This is for help, not requests. I do not want to be eam, and I am not, but these are the rules. Show me something and I will help.

First, get plys Mod v1.07 for vehicles, Write a script, using movefore commands and rotateenity , and Moveup (is that a command?)

Have a try at scripting it yourself, and as i want flying vehicles for my game, i will also try

It would be very jerly, since fpsc does not support, flying, or even ground vehicle physics.

He said he needs it to follow a waypoint.

Here's something you can try:

1) Set up the waypoint system for it to follow
2) Change your car entity into a character entity. (Edit the FPE file for this)
3) Now give your car the "follow.fpi" script.

That outta do it.

Also, could he set physics off? That might make the car fly better, and not be affected by gravity.

I've edited the FPE file and changed it into a character, and then I put the follow.fpi script in. I then put the waypoints in.

When I tested the game, the vehicle sort of bounced in the air.

That's probably because the character FPE contains an effect that causes the character bounce slightly. The same way when you walk, you also bounce slightly up and down. Just a theory though...

I also wanted cars and and hovering vehicles in one certain level, but I didn't know how... I'll try it.

A starting Games Designer. Need levels, characters and anything drawn and designed? Let me know...

I got the car to move by making a waypoint and setting its physics off and its main script to follownorotate.fpi, but it didn't fly, just went along the ground. Also remember the wheels don't move round, unless you have your own model where they do...
