With an 8gb micro sd card for the camera, I'll be posting quite a few pictures when I get back.

From the 25th of this month, I'll be flying to London for a week, Saudi Arabia for a week, and then Pakistan for two weeks. Time to meet all those billions of cousins I don't know or remember.

While going in the middle of the summer is going to be boilingly hot and painful in the sun, I'll have a nice tan for the start of my school year. Well, I'm already naturally brown, so it doesn't matter.

Unfortunately, in Saudi Arabia, when we get to the city of Medina (where only Muslims are aloud in), I'm going to have to get my hair cut / shaved as part of religious customs to visit the house of Allah (god) and all that jazz. What a bummer.

Anyways, just a heads up as to why I won't be on the forums for a while. Have fun everyone, and good luck with your game dev endeavors. It'll be great to come back and see the final entries for the nvidia compo!

Peace,
Xenocythe

Bye! Enjoy your vacation.

I didn't want this to sink to the second page, then when you get back and check it, no posts would mean that nobody misses you.

Have fun.

I think mean't doesn't mean anything, unless you meant "mean not"?

Maybe he mixed something like not "mea culpa", mean't...

Enjoy your vacation, Xeno. Make it an Epic Win and I think Medina/Mekka should be impressive to see.

Acutally yes it does, but say it out loud, it says "Me Not".

While we all seem to be enjoying the topic, isn't it "Mecca"?

And back on topic, wow Xeno! That sounds like an AWESOME vacation, you'll have to take TONS of pics for us to drool over, I've been wanting to go to Saudi Arabia for a LONG time

Mekka is phonetic arabic. Makkah would be how you'd pronounce it, I guess.

Oh man, major jetlag, but the flight back with Emirates was absolutely amazing. Advice: always fly emirates!

The trip was amazing. I have 700 or so pictures but I'll post much less than that on the forums, especially because the digital camera I have is 12 megapixels and the pictures are all HD.

London was amazing. I find London to be a billion times better than the United States, for several reasons. It's a fun, exciting place to go. It also has very old, nice architecture.

Pakistan was great. I have such a large family, it's not even funny . Pervez Musharraf, the former president of Pakistan, resigned while I was in the departing gates at the airport in Pakistan, leaving for Saudi Arabia. It was sad news. In my opinion, Pakistan should remain completely a military country. It wont get anything done otherwise. All of the politicians are down right corrupt.

Saudia Arabia overall is an absolutely beautiful place. I'm disappointed that only Muslims are allowed into Mekka and Medina, I want the whole world to see how beautiful the two cities are. Anyone may go to Jeddeh though, which is also very nice.

Well, I'm back. Wooh.
