Then the developpers never tested it, or didn't make it themselves... If I make something, I know what it can do, and what it can't do.

Sauerbraten is a game. The engine you download is what they used.

ingame press "E" to enter edit mode and select by using the left mouse key. then use mouse3(wheel) to up and down the selected block, in edit mode hold G down and the wheel mouse up/down to change the size.
use the right mouse to select one qurter of face which can be used to make curves and ship.
its old... but its a stable and awsome engine. bloom is exucuted brillainty maintaing fps and the speed of everything is just what you need to realease some totestrone on nublets

I actualy give the engine a rating of 8.2/10.
but I prefer the source engine

@ alucard
so, no one has posted a thread about it.

by that i think they mean they are not sure of every thing they can make, the terrain editor is also used as a object modeler so you can make some pretty epic maps with no added models, it just takes a while to make them.
@ Death head
no, sauebraten is a collection of small games and multi-player maps that are used to show off cube engine and its potential.
@ LT tatters
hey thanks man, but what do the other buttons do? i can press like, any button on my keyboard then move the wheel and it does something random to my map. i guess i will experimnt

try searching some pages off the Off-Topic front page. Or do a quick search...

Saur's nice, handling something smoothly... It's BSP. (Correct me if I'm wrong)

It uses a 6 direction heightfield. (That's also why it's deformable)

Binary space partitioning is just a method of storing level/layout information. It could/can be implemented by any game. I think the heightfield mechanism employed by Cube/Cube2 is very similar to BSP
