Daniel from moon rising game animated one of my frogs dancing. He did a great job:

I like the look of this game alot. It's got a very nice artistic style. I suggest you mabye change the texture of the revolver though. I just don't think the dark grey metal fits in well with the rest of the colours. Perhaps lighten it up and add bolder outlines?

Thanks, if I have time before release date maybe i'll retexture some of the guns, I'm not sure what all the weapons will be yet, I'm figuring that out. There will be a mallet and shotguns as well.

I have updated the demo a little, I animated the horses, put a voice instruction at the first key, added a 3dfrog video when you open the game, cleaned up some graphics, and added s4 mod 1.9a. It's basically not much different than the first one, but if you wanna try it out and let me know if you have any ideas to improve it let me know. Thanks.

Played new demo and its awesome no slowdowns for me and game play great, one thing I will say is there may be to many health's in the level and make the frogs a bit harder to kill.

Hey dennisb!

I've just played the demo and I really like your game. The gameplay is good and I love the models of the frogs and the hole style of the western city.
I think this would be a great multiplayer game too :=)

dennisb,

The whole thing looks very promising and I also am happy to see something a little different. Very well done.

I do have one question. What market (and by that I guess I mean age group) is your target? The game seems to blur the line between adult FPS and a childrens game.

Oh, and one more. Can I post a few of the screenshots here on fpsFREE.com?

Best.

Hi xplosys

Thanks a lot I hope people of all ages enjoy the game. My young nephews love love playing it and I have gotten good feedback from my adult friends too. I think this can reach a wide audience. I have green blood so it is not too gory, I realized i forgot to change my bulletholes decal before I made my last trailer because I downgraded fpsc and didn't update gamebank, but the blood in the game is green.

You are absolutely free to post anything on this thread on fpsc free. Thanks a lot!

Poor frogs. LOL

Thank you very much. I am also linking this thread to "The Latest from the Forum" link. I think it's a great concept, excellent work, and the kind of game that pushes FPSC to the head of the class. Thanks for allowing me to share it. Best of luck with completion and release. I have no doubts.

Best.

Thanks folks

I have uploaded a new demo. This one has no mods and includes videos. I would greatly appreciate if after playing the demo game you could inform me here of average fps, your processor make and speed, how much memory you have, and how much dedicated video ram you have. I am trying to figure out the recommended specs for this game.

Here is the download link, same link new demo:

Thanks,
Dennis

dennisb,

I really enjoyed the demo. In the first level, my FPS started at 21-ish and and increased as I took out frogs. Level two was higher from the start and I didn't see any of the drag I saw in the first level.

AMD Athlon 4200 Dual Core
2GB DDR Memory
GeForce 8600GT w/512MB

Best.

Thanks for testing xplosys, yeah that first level is a doosey. I have tried optimizing it as much as I could without losing game integrity. Maybe I can find another creative solution.

I really appreciate it. Thanks
