Hi.
I have a question about the game creation too Byond and no one seems to know the answer. To the people who know what Byond is: How would I switch the control of the player from one mob to another?

I think it's funny that people use TGC's forum to ask how to use it's competitors products... Funny, not sad. Just funny.

Anyway Byond has it's own forums. Try there?

I'm not a paying member, I dont think I can post there and there is no other topic like this. I'm trying to make an RTS, so I need the player to switch between objects so it can move.

Are we alone?

There are forums there.

But to answer your question IIRC, you can either keep your map to be the size of the client window so that the camera or client eye doesnt move around as the player moves around, or you can set the client eye's laziness to wait until the user reaches the edge of the screen. Back when I used byond there was a page with demos of code snippets showing how to do various things and this was one of them. Look around, and dont ask here again .

I wouldn't consider byond a competitor, as they're a free 2d multiplayer game creator. DBP is for (generally) 3d general game creation.

They're two very different systems. Of course, the developer forums are free to use (I still check them daily, though I've not touched DM in probably years), so I don't know why this was posted here

Hurray for teh logd!
