It's a Lenovo T61p

Intel(R) Core(TM)2 Duo CPU T9500 @ 2.60GHz
4gb RAM
NVIDIA Quadro FX 570M
200gb HDD

here's what Vista rates it for games:

Vista is quite fun. It's like learning to use the computer all over again. But I'm really liking it. I had a few problems with it at first. But now I've got it all working smoothly. Now it's just a matter learning.

It's dang fast. It's a lot of fun to play with Runs games way nicely. Granted, Vista IS a memory hog, but I have room to spare 4gigs of ram is nice.

My school, Neumont University, rents these computers out while you attend, then when you graduate they give it to you. That way it's still their property. It sounds a little controlling at first, but this way they will fix the computer if something breaks and everything else. So I like it.

They're supposidly working on getting us Vista64, which will be really nice. That way it'll take full advantage of my CPU and all 4 gigs of ram. Woohoo!

What an obscene amount of power. What on Earth are you going to use it for at "school"?

I fail at life. No, really.

Good luck running any of your typical games with that

Nice one. Hope you have fun with it . I wish my desktop computer could run HL2 games.

Umm... you know - notepad, mspaint, stuff like that.
Well, a bunch of programing. It really is a bit of an overkill, but they wanted to get us something that'll last a while. Different projects we will be doing involve using different operating systems, and they don't want us to have to worry about repartitioning, so we use VMWare and the likes. Having a beefy system helps with that. I personally will be doing 3D stuff still, so I'm really liking the video card

my friend is running Vista64, and he hasn't had much of a problem with running any games. Old or new. I know there was one or two that didn't work. But I know all the games I play do work.
