OK, here goes...there's this guy who keeps bugging me about his 'great' ideas of making a Diary program. I tried to do it in DBOro at first, but then decided DB wasn't made for string manipulation...so I thought, "wouldn't it be really easy if I could create a page in HTML, where u type in your stuff, and then save it on the hard disk...". I have done everyhting but I don't know how to make a button which lets you save what u typed onto your local disk, oh yeah a load button would be great too.... Any help welcome!

You can't do that in HTML well without Javascript.

Use PHP, ask me if you need help. (and maybe MySQL too!)

ok guys because i am as i said an amateur in web proggramming , i only know some html, after having a *LONG* discussion with morph, we decided a java applet would be the best idea. The reason being that i wanna make a kinda diary/journal prog as i said, and then burn it onto a cd like a program. This is supposed to become a diary prog, just very small in size...sorry if it sounds crap not my idea, any comments, ideas, and also one prob: I know nothing of java applets but i can learn the real Question is : will it work?
thanks guys!
