ok so i just left blitzmax. ugh i bought b3d bmax and b3dsdk trying to keep up with a system that still only supports DX7. Further more Bmax isnt as widely known so getting help with projects was a pain.

DBPro seems to offer exactly what ive been seeking in a 3d game SDK. I am glad to hop aboard with a fresh copy of DBPro

Ouch, um i thought DB Pro had OOP capabilities. thats a kick in the pants. i suppose i could write some sort of function that can emulate classes but still OUCH!

if god = infinity and infinity = 0 then god = 0

you can get a DLL (plugin) to give DBP OOP capabilities - i'll try to find it for you.

EDIT: It's not a DLL but Here you go, OOP precompiler for DBP

I migrated from Blitz to DBP to develop my MMO due to the lack of an updated graphics engine and other support. I'll be honest, DBP's Language and IDE does take some time getting use to. I have been able to survive without OOP to this point, so hang in there.

Welcome to the community.

There is also DarkGDK here, which lets you use DBP functions in C++.
