hey does anyone know how to hack open a CAB file? it\'s been driving my friend nuts.

Winzip opens most CAB files quite happily.

Depends on the type of CAB file. Windows CAB files open fine, but I think Winzip chokes on the installshield ones (not that it matters anyhow, since the data inside Installshield CAB files is normally garbled up into a single file)

Windows natively opens them.

Assuming we're talking Windows CAB files. There is >1 CAB format out there
