Just downloaded the trial version of this and have come from Gamemaker. Just wondering if there is any way of making this program look better?

I'm not quite sure what you mean. If you want to enhance the graphics of your game you can turn anti-aliasing on (it's in your graphics card's settings). Or you could use shaders which can also improve your game's graphical appeal (see attached picture of something I made in Dark Basic Pro) It all depends on the quality of your images, models, textures, etc.

It takes time and effort to make any game look good. But DBP has the power. That is assured by the community here and the creators of DBP...and by you when you take a closer look at the features the program has to offer.
