OK, I figured something out today. What on earth is driving up prices all over the world? I mean, here in the UK, we are in the brink of a recession, if not already in one! (Aren't the USA in one already?) I thought for a moment and came up with the following probable cause:
1. Governments warn us about global warming, making us do things to save energy, i.e. energy saving bulbs, not leaving TV on standby, etc., higher fuel taxes.
2. We try to save money on energy (reducing carbon footprint, etc) which makes fuel prices go up to compensate for the loss to the energy companies.
3. We economise even more to try to save money again, then step 2 happens again.
4. The rising cost of fuel pushes prices up all over the place, pushes interest rates up and there you get a recession!
Did I miss something? Or did I hit the nail on the head? Have your say!

Lay hold on Eternal Life.
