Darn. Your not supposed to advertise your own forums here, it's greatly frowned upon!

Quickly edit your post and they might not notice!

Sorry. I knew that at one point. Just been a long day. I learned something, though. Posting a new topic on a regular cell phone is tough.

lol maybe you should get a MOD to change the thread title to something more legal?
I'd say your safe though, you changed it pretty quick and admitted your mistake! Phew!

Not safe enough! FlamE!

Want some ice for that burn?

But in all seriousness, try to find something that'll separate your forum from the rest, content-wise. It's tough to compete with already established communities.

edit: Yes there is alot of established communities out there which will make it hard to make it up and running, but this community has been around awhile but its a bit rusty on the hinges.

This community has been around since 2003 but I've never really had a regular flow of people. It's sitting at thirty something members because the members that hadn't signed on in three months were deleted when I upgraded the forums two days ago. I've tried advertising on many different sites and in the games that I play, but no one comes. I can't really think of anything else to do to try and get more traffic. I was hoping someone had an idea.

Well, what we really want to do is make someone feel sorry for you Gunn3r. Considering Moon Rising did that.

If your good at programming make some sort of simple puzzle game, and advertise your forums through that!
It's a little more complex then that, but that's the basic idea!

@Darth Vader,
I'm learning C++ right now (school and other things need it) but I'm not at a comfortable level to do anything. I usually work in FPSC, but after this project that I'm working on, I'll be switching over to a new engine. What engines are great for beginners, but still deliver great performance?

I know this doesn't directly apply to the forums, but I would like some comments on the web design aspect of my site. I'm hand coding everything through PHP (which I'm learning as I go).
