Oh no! The press has found out about it. Well, it was only a matter of time, the other Georgia was a diversion.

You can't really fault a 12 yo for not knowing what's going on. At least, I sure hope it came from a kid.

Isn't Georgia (not the state. ) under an agreement of some sort with USA or something? Or at least I've heard, so no doubt the Russian attack annoyed a few yanks in high places.

Being in USA's shadow, if they are ever foolish enough to war with Russia or China, then England's done for, oh well, there's always Sweden and Norway, everybody loves those little critters.

Ok let me explain now ok. I mean that our governments are rubbish, Labour sucks. And why we still vote for them is a mystery.

Because we're too useless to be independent. Let's face it, as a country we really are incompetent.

ASUSTek Eee PC 701 4G Black - Celeron M @630mHz - 512Mb RAM - 32Mb Shared Intel GMA 900 - Windows XP Home SP1 - No antivirus/firewall.
And it still boots quicker than any other laptop I've seen.

Yeah, all you need to do is look at the TGC forums to realise how incompetant the british are. Really, I mean look, that Seppuku guy is an idiot.

I think you're over generalising, speculating and pre-judging all governments. There's certainly a lot of bad governments out there, but there are governments who managed to provide countries what they need, they're not perfect, but I would go as far as saying they all abuse their power - I have my own ideas about what our specific governement 'is', but I'm keeping my lips sealed for the sake of discussion.

You can't judge anyone because of their age, I hate when people do that, there are plenty of young people who are more mature and can spell better than 30 + people, which is sad in its own right.
I hate when people judge from age, as I myself is pretty young and when people realize that they instantly think that I am some stupid no-brain butthole who can't spell properly and don't have any intelligence at all.
But on the other hand, sadly, most young people (on the internet) are basically... Idiots, it's actually really sad

Deathead, you hate every government? Isn't that a tad much? I mean, I like my government. They give me free healthcare, stay out of my business and give me money if I would ever need it without me having to do anything. Not that I would ever think of abusing that.

Not all governments deserve to be hated. Some few here and there are genuinely good, or at least try their best to appear that way. But either way is fine by me since both instances serves in the best interest of its people (or it wouldn't be good, would it?).

Edit: @ Alucard

Well, we didn't really judge by age here did we? We guessed what age the Jessica-unit would most likely be at considering the ...quote.

I have a hard time believing there is a single 12 year old with more maturity than people who are 30+. Yes, Hollywood is to blame by having kids in movies who are smarter than their peers-- but it's never happened in the history of man. Sorry.

When I was twelve I met SEVERAL 30 + year olds who acted like they were 4, no really, they did, they spelt like they had never learnt the alphabet and talked about such simple things and thought they sounded "Pro", and the sad part about that is that they didn't even know anything about the simple things.

Oh and if you want somewhat of a proof, look at this guy, he's in the mac vs pc argument (which is idiotic mind you) and you'll get my point when you watch (I dare you to watch the entire thing without either getting pissed of or start laughing) one of his videos.
And he's probably not 30 but I think he's about 25 or so.
He calls himself "King of S... Talk (KOST)" and he's a handful.

Uh, I wasn't judging anything. If that person were 12 and said that to me I'd laugh right in their face. If that person were 12 and gave me a well formulated, coherent statement on the reasons why Russia were invading Georgia, I'd listen intently.

I was just pointing out that this person was almost certainly a naive child, nothing more, and shouldn't be faulted at that young of an age for being naive.

Watching, and I have to say, he's right on the money with a lot of stuff. Windows is holding the world back. I don't agree that mac is our savior though, I hold that one on Linux.

That's not the point, the point is, he keeps saying that he's "owning" people when all he's doing is calling them faggots and insulting them and death threatening them (Mostly in comments on youtube and on ustream).

Ya, still, I am almost the same age that person is, and I am rather aware of what is going on in our world. Unfortunately I cannot be as active as I want...

As for twelve year olds being more mature than 30 year olds, its possible, and I've seen it. EDIT: I just watched that vid, and umm...wow.

Judging people by there age, well I think that's kind of wrong(on forums like these), what really matters is competence, in my opinion.

I didn't mean it like that. Not saying young people can't be informed or coherent, just saying that the odds are greater that it was a child than for example that said 30 year-old. Everyone seems to be misunderstanding that point.

My downstairs neighbors are in their mid-thirties, and I'm not kidding or eggagerating when I say my 10 year old cousin could stump them repeatedly in intellectual conversation, lol. It isn't really that he's a child genius so much as they're drop-outs . The most intelligent thing I've ever heard either of them say is that the Civil War "was a long time ago." When asked specifically when the Civil War took place, they responded "who cares? Wasn't it the 1920's or something?"

So I don't think it's a stretch to believe there could be a 12-year old whose smarter or more mature than a 30-year old, lol.

Obviously you can have a 12 year old who is smarter than a 30 year old. No worries. But more mature? Much more unlikely. At the end of the day the sheer act of living for 3 decades will make you more mature. Might still be as clever as a block of cheese, but that is a different kettle of dead fish.

On the other hand you do meet a right bunch of immature losers at all ages of life. I blame a mix of inbreeding and general laziness. Check for webbed feet and the like...

Cheers

Playing Rock Band yesterday with my son (12), little brother (16) and a woman I know on the mic, this is verbatim...

Me. ''Wow, first try and you score 100% on singing''
Her.''100%?, is that good?''

She works in McDonalds, and is 35. Age has no correspondence with intelligence .

I accused my mom of condescending me one time, she replied...
''Condescend you?, you don't even know what that means!''

All I can say is that they invented contraception for a reason...like for example the youtube profile Alucard posted...my goodness if I met the man in real life I'd punch him to death screaming, "get out of our gene pool, if you can't get a life then you don't deserve one!"

How does responding with "you're a noob" give your argument any weight? I'm having a discussion right now on a philosophical forum, should I call everybody noobs and tell them they're stupid and deserve to die? (I've had that done to me before - somebody posted a half-arsed argument and said "PWND NOOB"! So I 'pwnd' him, so to speak in his terms.) The people on youtube worship him, which amuses me - call me sick, but I get a kick out of reading youtube comments, the logic behind them can be amusing beyond belief.

That's not how I remember the quote. You had it on your sig once. It was different, like "How could I condescend you? I don't even know what it means!" ~ mom.

Which has a very different meaning.

Anyhow, another mom-related story. I talked to her about the subject of egyptian pyramids once, and she said "It's amazing how they could build them back then, how long ago was it? 500 years?"

Yes, mom... They were built 500 years ago.
Possibly designed by Leonardo da Vinci as well.

I was so sure it was "I Don't even know what it means", instead of "you". But allright then.

I regularly save youtube quotes in my precious "quotes" text document. I have a nice collection of internet wisdom. Here's one directed at me:
Quote: "HEY A#####E, you are some kind of a bush agent. YOU DESERVE to die to be executed for this mess called 911. call me so we can meet so i can break your legs a#####e or so that I can set you up for the death penalty."

And then he posted his phone number, or at least, A phone number. I mean, it's one thing to call someone else bad names, but to accuse them of being behind a major terrorist attack? Wow.

I seem to give that impression a lot. unbeknownst to me exactly why that is, though. Speaking of flies, I did hurt one pretty bad this morning. However, the fly had it coming.

And also Sep... Was it intentional to post two identical quotes and responding differently to them?

To make this post a little more useless, here's another lovely quote:
Quote: "Hi!! Ifm study Make-Up!! I wanna be a make-up artist. I went to Europe; a very beautiful country. I love Europe!!"

Indeed, Europe is a very beautiful country.

Quote: "Ah yes, I remember that."

You remember that? Ah, yes, maybe I've posted that one before here, a long time ago. It's still one of my favourites. He was angry because I told him how impossible it would be for CNN, FOX etc to be part of some major conspiracy that I'm not going to go further into. So naturally, I would have to be a "bush agent" then since I didn't back-up his little theory.

Europe is a fantastic country or at least it will be - when we rule it.

Are they prejudiced against the fact you're a satanist?...or is it the eyes? I still can't get over those eyes, they creeped me out.

You did not answer my question!

And yes, we will rule the country of europe in due time, but we will rename it to "bob". Or perhaps we shall call earth that once we're at phase 417 of our master plan. Just one more step for complete and utter control.

Oh, and I don't go around saying I'm a satanist. In fact, none here knew until the survey came up long ago, asking what (if any) religion we follow. And I don't put it on any of my profiles on youtube or elsewhere (facebook being an exception). So it can't be that.....it has to be the eyes, yes.

Ah, well, I didn't want to just say it was your evil eyes, it might hurt your feelings - satanism seemed like an appropriate assumption to draw away from the eyes. I sincerely hope you don't speak to these people with the same creepy eyes and psychotic grin, I think it might explain half of the responses you get.

Admittedly, I have introduced myself to strangers as being a sociopath, so I'm one to complain.

And to answer you question, no it wasn't intentional...hmm...looks like the power and copy and paste has failed me once again - so I've repaired it.

We all know Grandma secretly plants kittens with mics on in the government headquarters and takes all his information from there.
And then he goes down to his secret basement of, do I dare to say it? DOOM! And plans on his plan for world domination.
All he needs now is the power of the Norwegian gods and we will take over the world. But the Swedish people shall win the fight!
