[[ HUNTER ]]

This is a new WIP. It'll eventually grow into a complete, mission based top down tank game, with weapon upgrades and plenty of destruction.

The demo can be found at;

http://www.lukeoc.co.uk/temp/tank_demo.zip

It just shows off moving the tank, the aesthetic design, and cool particle effects and explosions.

If you want to see some of the basic code I posted it at;

http://forum.thegamecreators.com/?m=forum_view&t=134313&b=6

And below are some screens (note; they dont really do it justice...).

Very nice. I played the demo for awhile, and I love the feeling of moving whilst shooting. Good job

Nice work so far. The camera shake during the explosions is a nice touch!

Thanks for the comments. I'm currently working on how the levels will be constructed and look, along with some enemies.

Its all very exciting, I'll post an updated demo soon, probably after the weekend.

cool start, i like the shake too, but how will that react to several characters and/or enemy's onscreen? might want to tone it down just a bit, i could see the camera going wacko from that
