Hey just wondering if there were any or many from New Zealand or Australia on these forums and if they would consider joining together to form a indie software company. I have been eager to start a business and really start getting some great original titles out. If your interested give me shout and well see what happens.

I'd say, I don't think anyone would fly to either country to meet up with 2 other guys? But if you are in New Zealand then I would.

It all depends on how keen are but teams can still work across the internet with the appropriate software to manage projects.

The thing is, nobody will meet up for a project when they're busy with their own jobs. Over the internet is fine, but real life just poses too many problems.

Agreed, I am very preoccupied, but would love to actually meet another member of the tgc community.

Then you might as well try to form a team with people from all over the world.

Im Australian, but tend to move around a lot. I am planning on going to NZ next year for a month or two...

I am actually very much a fan of local indie game development, but for me, I prefer to be with the people I am developing with. It makes it so much more viable and fun. Instead of LAN parties, dev parties

I currently have a fps in development which has some original ideas that I feel could change the way we look at first person shooters. I am developing a prototype of this engine in dbpro however the final build version would likely be ported to gdk which I am capable of working with. All I really want to know is whether or not there are people out there willing to take a leap into the dev world and try make a name for themselves.

I have a friend who lives in New Zealand. However I live in Rocklin, California (USA).

According to wikipedia there are 4,268,000^5 people from New Zealand. So yes, there are people from New Zealand.

Cheers,
