How do you convert file types of .txt and .dba? It's important to know so I can get the source code of here and into Dark Basic.

Just copy and paste the source code into darkbasic.

Higlight the code by holding down the left mouse button,
and dragging over the source code. Then Right click and click Copy (or press ctrl-c). Then in the Dark Basic IDE right click again and click paste(Or press ctrl-v).

or if you are in the notepad and you want to save a file as dba :
file
save as
name.dba

Or turn off the option that makes windows hide known file extensions (in an explorer window, tools | folder options | view), select the file hit F2 and just rename to .dba.

But look at his name. He came from a language I also came from. But, why _doesn't_ he know that?

......you should not convert anything...

ITS TEXT.......there is only one text format.......

1 byte per caracter......that's it......nothing less nothing more..

note pad is just an application..who will open a .txt and an .dba the same way....then DB will do the same thing...

ok ill explain it AGAIN:

JUSTE RENAME YOUR FILEEEEEEEEEEEEEE

in .dba

see that:

test.txt

rename it in test.dba

understand?

OK Sorry..I get it that I'm an idiot..I'm just having trouble getting started. I'm not very good at programming, especially games, but I can make some programs and I know some of the commands...
