Hey Deca. My friend. The latest screens are very cool. I just noticed one thing, the sun light is in the skybox but not in your level.

But looks very cool, keep it up buddy.

ASTEK, Cheers, it did take a few different approaches to get to this stage. A few months back I did post a starting shot of the level. However alot of the links were down or removed from the server.
I would be happy to show you, and the community some of my map design ideas after the Red Shift release.

Thanks Gremlin986

Thanks. Not based on Fear though sorry.

Yeah, I'm looking at 2-3 weeks I hope. Sound is giving problems, not repeating on time, leaving a blank pause before the sound plays again. All good, trying .wav over .ogg

Thanks CG

Red Eye, my friend. Thankyou for that, I thought it may look like the far hill was blocking the glair. Yet I will see this gets corrected.

I think that I may like it more without the sunlight. At least, how I picture it in my head. But let's see how it turns out...

I took it for a test run. Looks as if I left 1 light I moved on the lower layer.
IMAGE -----
I've since removed and cut the light back a fraction to allow for the wall shadow. Should be a bit of both now.

I believe you didnt do it right. Try this:

I see you didnt place a light outside the level but inside. Try and make a static light with the color of the sun and give it a range of 10000 then place it like 10 segments away from your level, in the angle of the sun. Play with the ambience and it will look much better.

EDIT: And one more thing... Make place the sun light 3 to 4 segments high, will look better.

Now you just placed a white light somewhere in your level.

Try it and let us know...

All the luck and hope i helped,

Your friend,

Red Eye

Red Eye.
That's strange, there is 2-3 lights outside the level. Maybe they are not high enough to allow for the custom landscape. I did also increase the light range of the lower lights, to build the light coming from 2 directions (natural and unnatural) I will have a look. Thanks.

dark peanut.
Thanks, Happy to post what I can as a developer to keep people up to date with our progress. I wish I could post more, yet the story and some scenes are stashed away...

I hope we can show more later today... The sound issues were also fixed last night.

Thanks Red Eye.
I think I have found an in the middle range, the clip shows up dark, however in game it looks ok. I may adjust it some more.

*clip shows up a little dark on selected res, viewing at night may give a better insight. AI response testing, not official gameplay. Enjoy.

Metal Devil123, how u doing. Yes it was planned to be. Thanks.

@DJMaster, Does not look to be released as soon as planned. No big drama as we are planning on inviting some devs to bring this release forward.

We have also gained alot of interest in Brazil and Poland.
The AI response/find cover and use cover to avoid being shot is now completed. A example can be seen in the above vid. HQ/FS recommended.

Is there a demo for this anywhere. Have I missed it or something?
