I just 5-starred Through the Fire and Flames on Expert on GH3! Which means that I've now gotten 5 stars on every song in GH2, GH3, and GH Aerosmith!

90% of statistics are completely inaccurate.

Thanks! Man I can't wait for World Tour to come out. I just hope that they introduce DLC for the Wii. I've missed out on so many great songs cause of that.

dude... all this time you've put into practicing on a toy guitar could've been spent learning to play a real one.

Probably be cheaper too. If you don't take lessons and teach yourself.

All that time you spend playing shooter games (If you do that is) you could've put into practicing to kill people in real life.

I don't get why people compare Guitar Hero with playing a real Guitar, Guitar hero is a GAME, it's nothing more than say, Half life. People play it to have fun, not to create any serious skills. It's the same thing like saying to a person who plays real guitar really good "Learn to play plastic guitar you noob!!!".

I mean, come on.

Did you actually waste 15 seconds of your life coming into my thread to tell me that?? Seriously, it's just a game, and if you've got a problem with it, don't comment on it. And I can play real guitar, as well as piano.

Okay, that I can't argue with.

It does make you wonder - what part of the guitar controller costs more than a second hand Stagg? I've had mine open several times, installing foam soundproofing because the strum bar is loud and it's simple inside.

1. You installed soundproofing in your Guitar Hero guitar? Badass.

2. As for the price tag? Marketing.

So? No one should nagging people to start playing a real guitar instead of playing a game. It's the persons choice, no one else's.

Who cares about real guitars when you can play a easier plastic one and feel proud of yourself after finishing a song on expert?haha Really though, I think Guitar Hero is a good game to get people interested into music. As some people find it hard to learn guitar they can use that to get used to the feeling of holding one in their hands and strumming whilst hitting notes, and when it comes to learning a real one it wouldn't feel awkard to strum and to hit notes at the same time.

Holy crap! Good job AndrewT! I can only get 3 stars -- I'm just glad I can beat the song.

*About Playing Real Guitar*
I'm learning how to play guitar AND I can play Guitar Hero on Expert. I've always wanted to play the guitar (More specifically the electric guitar - though I'm playing the acoustic guitar currently) - I'm not doing it because of Guitar Hero.

EDIT
Quote: "Blake Peebles plans to be home schooled, and will use the extra time that this will buy him to practise his art and get himself into gaming tournaments, with the view of make his living as a professional Guitar Hero gamer."

a) "practise" is spelled "practice" (The genius writing that obviously needs to go to school). b) Home school isn't no school - I go to home school and it's just as much work as traditional school. (Actually, I go to "independent study" which is home school).

Cheers,

Am I the only person on this planet that hates guitar hero lol? I feel very out of place at these forums.
