How do i texture a 3d object I have various packages

truespace 3.2
bryce 4
uv mapper

I dont understand how to do this

You make a model, uv map it, and thenput textures on the Uv Map, search for it. I am sure you will find something.

It depends on the model try Uv mapper for some. It may help.

I can never get UVs to work, instead of a nicely UV'd model, I get a hunk o' junk with loads of little UCs all over it....

if you have the texture, then download entity workshop:

http://forum.thegamecreators.com/?m=forum_view&t=111796&b=21, Import the .x model, then coat it with a texture, then save it! (straight forward program)
