Hello everybody,

I got myself the Combat Knife from the Store and I'd like to know how to use the Blocking feature with the Airmod 0.6.

In the knife's gunspec I have

block = 120,134

so by rightklicking I get the blocking animation. Now my question is where to put the plrblocking=1 condition? And which action should follow after that blocking condition?

Try to find some scripts that Airslide or EAI have already written and work off of those. That'd be your best bet.

Hi Plystire,

Yes I've been searching for those scripts the last few weeks but unfortunately neither the forum search nor Google could give me useful results. So I ended up in trying to write them on my own.

Where can I get those scripts?

Hi 'Thoben', the Block feature with EAI's weapons in the tgc store also have hidden paramerters in the Gunspec files, these can be activated by using a modification that both EAI and airslide are working on, you should be able to find it in fpsc chat of this section.
In the thread scattered around there should be helpful little things now and then I suppose...

No doubt'fully the simon cowell of the fpsc section :S

The block feature should be used in the enemy's ai script. Open up the main fpi of a melee character and look at where it does the damage. Then add plrblocking=0 on the condition side of that line. You can make another line that checks for plrblocking=1 to play a sound effect or something.
