The sooner this technology is ready for general use the better, you should see the mess of power cables behind my desk.

^Same here. I imagine the process of making sure it doesn't interfere with anything will be tough on them.

This could mean a lot of money for Intel, which could, in turn, mean really awesome chips from Intel for us. I'm particularly interested in the Larrabee project.

I just did my research on the Larrabee GPU that Intel has planned for release late 2009/early 2010. It's basically a multi-core x86-based GPU. Essentially, the cores are x86 with extensions for enhanced performance in the area of GPU and GPGPU processing. Visit this Wikipedia entry to see details. Notice the section near the end of the article about performance in games like Gears of War.

Wireless power would be good for stuff such as wireless mouses and such, never have to charge or use a battery again. That would be great.

I don't see how that could compete with anything that'll be released in 2 years. It competes only with the highish end cards of today, from what I can tell :/

What's your stance on it?

Hurray for teh logd!

^Interesting idea. I think they're considering a "whole house" sort of solution. I think that's what they would do, at least.

This sounds awesome! The sooner this comes the better! I hate charging batteries! And imagine, Wiimotes with endless power!
