On my endless checks to 3drealms for any news on DNF, I discovered that Duke Nukem 3d is coming out for XBLA in September!!! Im pretty happy, mostly cause I cant really play it on vista ( I dont think), but I remember the good ol days of lanage pwning with Duke Nukem 3d, and Rise of the Triad. Good stuff.

Cool, Duke3D has some great multiplayer, especially all those later levels set in space, so many little tricks to pull on unsuspecting noobs. I love filling an elevator with pipe bombs then wait on someone to try and get in.

I have it on the DS and it would be perfect on that platform if not for the control technique, having Duke with dual analogue controls will be heaven.

I also heard Duke Nukem Forever will be launched on the XBOX 3960, simultaneously with the PC version.

I'll look into that Darth, it might be a bit big for emailing. I only have the demo version 'wad' file though, which is plenty to see how it plays but if you have the old PC version it is possible to get all the levels. I'll see if I can improve the controls as well.

So, basically, it's using the Doom DS port with a custom Duke3D WAD? Nice.

Nah, might have misled you there. Here's a link to the DS port - it is exactly the same as the PC version bar a few niggles (particles don't seem to move for example).
I used the word 'wad' as I've no idea what the packages are called for Duke, I just know that it works with the demo files.

Looking at that page again I think I must have borked the control setup (maybe took the PC controls setup by accident).

Nice. I didn't think they'd actually spend the time to port it. Then again, I guess it only took minor changes since SDL now supports the DS.
