Anyone else seen it yet? If you haven't gone to see it yet, YOU WILL! Go out and see it right now.

I've seen the old death race movie, might as well see this one too. I like it when things explode.

Dude, you're not supposed to post your age unless you're over 18.

What? Its one of the rules. Any time I've seen someone under 18 post their age, the mods change their post.

I haven't seen this film yet, and to be honest I am in no rush after just watching the trailer. It looks like a good action film but they have removed the most original and best part of the original 'Death Race 2000' - the point scoring system for running down innocent members of the public. It was mostly done in an over-the-top comedic way (some would even say slapstick at some points) which is what has made it a cult classic. Without that this film just looks like 'Running Man' with cars.

I did not expect to cause an outcry over that... I mean it's not like I'm 13 or something.

Previews looked meh. Well done for what it is (in the trailer, ahyhow, didn't see the movie) , but looks pretty dumb to me.

I think a movies based off Twisted Metal would be better

Yeah I really wanna see Death Race too, because all of the effects are real, such as the cars themselves ( in most scenes anyway ) and the explosions.

Are you kidding me? The movie was terrible >.< It was terrible upon terrible. The worst part was when the protagonist said the s word and the f word in the same sentance. And the camera zoomed in. And people snickered. And I died a little inside.

You're totally right, but just let the mods do their jobs. They'll do fine, and maybe they'll decide Cian is an exception to the rule.

I had the choice to see either Death Race or Tropic Thunder. Chose the last, didn't regret it for a second. Gonna watch it a second time with some friends when I get back in the Netherlands and it launches.

Man I know what you mean. I was watching Tropic Thunder, and when Robert Downey Jr. said "lets load and lock," some moron girl behind me said "its lock and load!" Really? It's almost like they were making a joke or something!

In order:
1) Like I said, the previews and trailers don't even come close to doing justice to this film.
2) Its no big deal, I was just letting you know so you don't get modded.
3) Can't say about twisted metal, but this movies is not, by any means, dumb. it is not just pure action, either. Its pretty well written and has some good characters.
4) I know, just wait till you see the !SPOLIERS!

5) If the worst part of a movie is the swearing, then it CAN'T be bad. "OMG! He swore! Cover your ears! Save the children!" Who cares if he swore? Its an R-Rated movie, what did you expect? Butterflies and cute little sheep?
6) Sorry, not trying to do the Mod's jobs for them, just trying to keep a fellow user out of trouble.
7) Haven't seen Tropic thunder yet, but I do want to. And, yeah, the people who don't get the jokes, and them say something dumb about it are really annoying.

I don't think that was his point, I think his point was that it's just ridiculous and embarrassing when people try to act "cool" and all with swearing, and it's also cliché...

And I would put a nice swear right here but the censor won't let me! x(

Ah, okay, I misunderstood.
Although I don't think it was to make him look cool. I think it was to express that he was angry?

pleh, boring action flick, I'll take the old one, more than likely way better.

Tropic Thunder on the other hand looks great, I can't wait to see it.

I saw it last night without expecting too much, so I wasn't let down. I just liked trying to figure out which cars everyone was driving. Somebody had a jaguar.

I think the movie was suppose to be intentionally ridiculous, have any of you seen death race 2000 with Stalone? (he was machine gun joe)
