I recently reviewed an extensive gameplay demo of Borderlands. My first impression was, "This will redefine FPS games." As much as Crysis did raise the bar, it appears that Borderlands has decided to use a different bar altogether.

So it would appear that X10 could be to FPS games as what the Sega Dreamcast was to home video game consoles? In other words, a little late to the party, and not enough panache.

Seems it would be important to push for more competitive functions/features when attention comes back to X10 by Lee and company. Mind you, I'm not saying X10 will should try to go toe-to-toe with multi-million dollar engines, but but efforts like Mozilla have proven that you can run with the big dogs for less.
