I was watching Metalocalypse [Adult Swim] the other day, and I noticed that Toki said "I gots the rippeds version of the Dreamweavers."
A few weeks earlier, I was watching Venture brothers, and The Guild of calamitous intent was showing video evidence against the Monarch, and they said that "Councilman 13 got Adobe premier."

Is it just me, or is Adobe advertising on [Adult Swim]? I know it must make sense from a business point of view, but it just seems kinda weird. I mean, you'd think that Adobe would want to advertise on a more... Professional network, y'know? I mean, they got some weird shows on [AS]. I was just wondering if anyone else had notice this and/or had some thoughts about it.

This is adult swim. Or their website at least.
[AS] is a late-night block of pg-13 shows on cartoon network.

Yeah I had noticed that to its so odd, I had watched another episode and they were all mad so they started smashing lamps and the guy was like don't smash my good ones go smash the cheap IKEA ones

Adult Swim is awesome. Between the anime, Robot Chicken, Family Guy re-runs, Metalockalypse, and Aqua Teen Hunger Force it's unbearably awesome.

Shows that are awesome on [AS]:
ATHF
Family Guy
Futurama (until comedy central stole it!)
Metalocalypse
Fullmetal alchemist
Bleach
Deathnote
Shin-chan

Shows that are horrible and really need to be wiped from human memeory and their creators beaten:
Tim and Eric awesome show
Assy McGee
Tom goes to the mayor
Stroker and Hoop
Home movies
The Oblongs

Luckily, the good shows are on eariler and more often than the nad ones.

Hmmm, that's a kids show over here.

We don't get adult swim, luckily Joost has an Adult Swim channel, so I can still watch it through the net. However, the only show I like that they get on the joost channel is Robot Chicken (though of late it hasn't been that funny)

Family Guy to is great - we get that through FX.

Anything else I've seen on there I didn't like that much.

Shin Chan was redubbed by Funimation to be a madly inappropriate show over here. Trust me when I say it's not for kids.

The sin-chan I know is a kids program, broadcast on Jetix, which in turn shows all kinds of kids programs, from anime to American made cartoons. I used to watch shaman king on Jetix

Really? It may be different here as others said, but it's wildly inappropriate at times (for kids, at least).

Obviously it's been dubbed differently - it's just a kid who tries to score with women and does the bare-butt boogy and loves to wind his Mum up - though I've wondered why kids would be interesting in scoring with women their father ought to be checking out.

It's voiced, actually. But yes, that's what it is, basically. But it can get very inappropriate at times. More so than a lot of South Park.

Yeah I just caught the elephant dance on youtube - definitely something I wouldn't have seen on the UK kids version.

Though I prefer the voice actor they use for Shin Chan on the UK dub.

I thought AS cartoons were Harvey Birdman, Space Ghost and its spin-offs, Sea-Lab and those types of cartoons? Those were so good. Robot Chicken is horrible in my opinion.

They were a while ago. Once they started coming out with shows like Robot Chicken I stopped watching it. I really don't know what shows they play because every time I look it's something stupid like the Oblongs.

Tim and Eric I hated at first but I have grown very fond of, its just something to let your brain go wait what that was so freaking stupid but they pummel you so much that it stays funny. Assy Mcgee definitely grew on me, it has its ups and downs.

ATHF- Was good in the beginning, not so great anymore, movie sucked terrible and it even had neil in it.

Family Guy- Amazing, never been let down

Futurama- The ONLY show that could trump Family Guy, I never missed an episode, ever, until I switched to nightshift then I kinda had to.

Space Ghost- Man I was in middle school/high school when that was on, darn that was a while ago, still great show, but I was there for the bad times too, THE BRAK SHOW- YUK!

Saul and the Molemen- Grew on me, it was stupid but turned into an awesome show and then never got renewed.

Metalocolypse- My daily dose of a band that will never die, I love their album, pretty good tunes on it.

Harvey Birdman- Was sad to see it go, but it had to end, great show IMO

Sea-Lab- Was a messed up show, but I loved it.

Robot Chicken- Hit and miss

Big O- Bring back the mechs pleasse! How about gurren laggan in japanese, great show.

Samurai Jack- Great show

DBZ- Eh...watched it done, yaya

Trigun- Great show, took it off and I was sad

Bleach- Freaking sweet in the start, waiting for the 50+ fillers to be done though

Inuyasha- I got addicted to this, I've seen it on adult swim four times.

Death Note - HORRIBLE, GET THAT CRAP OFF MY TV!

So yea, I've been here for a while following AS's flow, its been a great ride.

DONT YOU DARE INSULT DEATH NOTE.

Yeah Shin Chan is actually a children's show in Japan but Funimation decided to take it and turn into a completely inappropriate show.

Sorry Cian, its just crap to me, too drama filled, why would I want to watch a stressful show when the real world does it well enough?

Morel Orel was freaking messed up, that show was the only one to make me say oh my god, I can't watch this, it was just too much ,and thats coming from someone who is in a pagan faith. It shocked me so much about how far they were really going with the undertones.

Shin Chan, funny but very innappropiate.

Yeah... Deathnote=one of the worlds best animes.
Deathnote>bleach>Naruto>Inyuyasha
the best anime EVER? Outlaw Star.
Freakin awesome show, it was just a teensy bit above Gundam wing, which is second best. DBZ is third, just because theres only so much you can do with guys getting stronger and stronger. After Freeza was beaten, the whole power level thing was just pointless.

But I honestly CAN NOT understand how it is possible to like Tim & Eric.
Seriously, there is something very, very wrong with those people. They are not normal people. I would honestly not feel safe in a room with them, I would be scared out of my wits. These are dangerously unstable people.

uhh... Comedy? I've watched Tim & Eric, and I have yet to see ANYTHING that could POSSIBLY be considered comedy. I said these are DANGEROUSLY unstable people. That stuff is sick, twisted, not funny, demented, and is not something that a normal, sane person could enjoy doing or watching. I've only taken a few psychology classes, but I can say with all certainty, that these people are not fit for mainstream society. I am honestly afraid of these people. They are dangerously psychotic.

True, "normal" is a paradox, because most people are "weird". However, this being the case, it is "normal" to be "weird".
But there ARE some universal rules of society and what a human being should and should not do. An example of a universal rule is that killing is, and never has been, considered acceptable by any society. Human beings should not get enjoyment out of harming living creatures. THAT is not "normal". I'm not saying that Tim & Eric physically harms other creatures, I'm just saying that there ARE some things that are never "normal". I guess a better word would be "acceptable". Tim & Eric is simply NOT acceptable, and no sane, logical human being should be capable of enjoying this. I honestly think that these are dangerous, clinically insane, emotionally disturbed people. If it was up to me, (or any other rational person) any person or persons featured on that show would be locked away for the rest of their natural lives, so that they could never harm any innocent people. (Which they inevitably will. Mark my words, one of these days, Tim & Eric are going to snap, and hurt a lot of innocent people.)

Omega - it's a TV show, it can exit the boundaries of morality to appeal to some people's sense of humour or interest, it doesn't mean the viewer has to be immoral themselves. Sometimes the 'shock' factor can make things funny because they are unacceptable - I mean South Park has used the 'n' word as a punchline and it works because it's been put in the right way to make it funny - the fact it's a horrible word ads the shock factor, especially when Stan's dad says it on live television on the program wheel of fortune.

If Tim and Eric do anything illegal or are a risk to humanity, then they'd be locked up. And I don't see why you're taking them so seriously.

@ Seppuku arts:
Its not even "Shock value" jokes. The things these people do are just.. disturbing. I would honestly rather watch 2 girls 1 cup or the BME pain olympics for eight hours straight than watch Time & Eric for two minutes. The things these people consider entertainment is just wrong.

I watched a few clips on YouTube (we don;t get it over here) and they don't seem as bad as you make out - not to my taste in humour but...worse than 2 girls 1 cup? I left the room after a few seconds - that was pure disgusting. So I wouldn't say that.

I guess we just have different tastes. I find Tim & Eric more disgusting than you do. SOME of the stuff they do is tolerable, I can watch it without killing everyone in the room, myself included. But most of their so-called "jokes" are nothing but pure damnation for the human race.
