I actually found it really impossible to look at. Still pretty cool though.

That's something you can watch for hours. It reminds me of the twilight zone. I found myself getting sucked in lol

reminds me of those train information screens you get at old railway stations that cycle through the letters to give the destination/platform/time of the next train, and then when a load of trains come in at once, the whole board goes crazy with all the letter tiles flipping. perhaps someone should do the same for railway stations as what this guy did with the clock ^_^

You do realise its using your local time, yes? You could set your Windows time to 11:59pm on New Years Eve and then open the page.

I saw that clock demonstrated in a Macromedia presentation many years ago. They used it to show off stuff done in Flash by people outside of the company. It impressed them too.

And have Windows freak out about how I'm a pirate because I changed my clock? No way.

Well, I don't know what you are running but it works fine with my XP SP2. I change the time and date all the time to test software I write which perform functions at certain times. Never had any problems.

Hate to say it but, to see them all change in unison you're going to have to wait 362,075 days, 9 hours, 37 minutes and 38 seconds or roughly 991 years and 4 months. Sorry.

That won't do anything

Just change the clock on your computer to 1999 December 31 11:59:00 and pop the champagne bottle.

If you are in Japan or need to know the time in Japan (who doesn't?) then you can't get better than Uniqlock. What more is there to life than watching dancing Japanese girls while checking the time.

Yeah... It will. I just tried it, and it makes all the numbers change at once. They change all at once when the page first loads, so refreshing will reload the page, and restart the clock.

Well technically yes, but I thought he wanted it to change based on the clock, not based on webpage initialization

EDIT:

Scraggle, that clock is great. It's so peaceful when it's night time
