This is an old project that I started, and I thought I would post it here. It`s a puzzle game, and your this goblin. The goal is to push all of the diamonds on the green plates. You can not push 2 diamonds or more at once.

Use the arrow keys to move, and rightclick+drag to move camera.

Have fun!

There are 44 levels, the last is impossible, but whoever even gets there is already a genius.

I`m not sure if that is the original. The original game is this, but tell me if I`m wrong...

Your right about the 50 levels. My game should have 50 levels, but it took long enough to make what I`ve got, and I am still working on the next levels. I`ll post the next demo soon.

Hmm, I downloaded it and ran it.

I got a loading screen then it broke and I got the following error in the middle of my screen:

(by the way, I don't really run on a Windows 95/98)

This happens if you run the exe straight from the zip file. If you did that, it won`t be able to decompress the images and therefor not be able to load them. You have to extract the files first.

And if thats not the problem, then I have no idea...

Nice game. I'm up to level 30. There appear to be a few bugs, giving ERROR 7, when undoing, going back a level etc. The "diagonal move" feels kind of like cheating. It's also hard to pull off, and i have to keep trying and hitting undo a lot.

It's cool that you have the undo system. Also nice scene/camera transition.

I think i must have finished it. Level with a chequered grid, one too few gems than required? Still says i finished the level, and gives runtime error 99. On reloading game, gives error 97. Presumably there's no more data or something.

Yeah, the Undo has a few bugs, but nothing ever happens when I go back a level... I will see what I can do.

What!??! I did not program a diagonal move! It must be when you push 2 arrows at the same time. Need to fix that, that should not be there. Yes, it does not only feel like cheating, it is cheating!

Also, if you are having problems with always hitting the undo button, you can use ctrl+z.

Thanks!

If its level 44 with tons of diamonds and only walls on the outside forming a square you play in, and in each corner there is a diamond on its goal, yes, then you finished it.

I congratulate you for winning! I put in some very tough levels, but you beat them. I hope you did not use the diagonal cheat too much...

How did you beat the last level? I set the diamonds up, so it would be impossible to move all of them on their goals, and you still missed a diamond, but you did it anyway. How?

Quote: "and gives runtime error 99. On reloading game, gives error 97. Presumably there's no more data or something."

Yep. If you look in the working directory, there is a folder named "levels", and in that folder there are all of the 44 levels. Once you beat the last level (level 44), it will look for level 45, which does not exist, and because computers are dumb machines, they will throw up an error.

Anyway, I will be working on some much tougher levels, and will return... MUAAAHAAAHAAHAHAHAHA!!!!! HA, HA, HA, HA- *choke*, *cough*, *gurgle* *cough* *cough*.... I am getting too old for this...

(Forget the crazy text above)

I congratulate you again, and hope others will also finish the game,

I cant post any screen shots until I get back from Thailand, and that would be on the 30.10.2008. But I promise that I will post the screenshots.

Damn, I better fix that bug before other people download it.

Nice!

I like the way you used the KDE sokoban graphics!

(I bet you thought nobody would notice bwhahaa)

I love sokoban and I keep meaning to make a sokoban clone at some point. Does your game have support for the widely adopted sokoban level format?

Nope, at least not yet... But I may include the format in some later versions. I just need to know how they are built. Can anyone help me here?

Hello there,
I was planning to start making the sokoban games however I wish I would have know how will the computer randomize making the puzzle level.. start with the walls up there, cut down with some main path to the target and some for pusher to get around to change the pushing object direction...SO this game could be last
I did collect some Big Fish Games and I learned that I have few games that can last as Be Trapped(in puzzle mode), and Pathstorm(in puzzle mode with custom setting provided)
things like that...
